sad girl in-chief
As a therapist
I specialize in addressing death loss, grief and religious hurt from a trauma-informed, strengths-based perspective. I am a big fan of working with healthcare professionals as I spent the better part of a decade as a pediatric Emergency Department social worker. I am an even bigger fan of the LGBTQIA+ community and would love to offer a safe and affirming space for you.
I am all about leaning into the sadness, the anger, the heartbreak (and the joys and wins, too!) - and I'm certain it's way better when you're not doing it alone. Let's talk about it! Maybe break a couple things, hit a couple pillows and laugh along the way, yeah?
As a human
I specialize in hanging out with my dog Rowena (you might see her if we work together virtually), volunteering with a wildlife rescue, training in Muay Thai and listening to sad songs (currently VERY into Samia, Tommy Lefroy, MUNA and boygenius).
